Chateau Bela Alibernet 2017

$78.00

Château Belá is a collaboration between renowned Mosel producer Egon Müller and veteran Slovak winemaker Miroslav Petrech, based in the historic Štúrovo region near the Hungarian border. This bottling is produced from Alibernet — a Central European crossing of Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon known for its deep colour, structure and affinity for extended oak ageing. Matured for three years in barrique, the wine is built with patience and restraint, allowing the grape’s natural density and savoury character to integrate over time.

Tasting Note
Dark-fruited and structured, with notes of blackcurrant, dried tobacco, pepper and subtle earthy spice. The palate is full-bodied yet composed, supported by mature tannins, balanced acidity and well-integrated oak. A serious, cellar-worthy red with a distinctly Central European profile.
