Founder & Brand Provocateur: A Personal Journey
The Velvet Bottle was created in response to a market saturated with predictable, trend-driven wines. I wanted bottles with depth, history and character.
As a boutique importer, we curate limited discoveries from independent producers, many from ancient winemaking regions rarely explored in Singapore. We choose wines for substance and interest, not simply price and create wine-led dining experiences where the menu is thoughtfully built around the bottle, not the other way around.
This is not just a business. It is about sharing wines I truly believe in.
