Davino is regarded as one of Romania’s benchmark producers, known for structured reds that combine international precision with regional identity. Rouge is the estate’s flagship blend, produced from carefully selected parcels in Dealu Mare, where warm days and limestone-rich soils allow full ripening while retaining freshness. Fermented in small lots and matured in French oak barriques, the wine is built with ageing in mind, balancing concentration with restraint rather than excess extraction.

Tasting Note
Dark berries, cassis and subtle cedar notes lead into a structured palate with firm tannins, integrated oak and fresh acidity. The wine shows depth and density without heaviness, unfolding gradually with savoury spice, tobacco and mineral undertones through a long, composed finish.
