A bold expression of unity and spirit, crafted from three indigenous grapes: Saperavi from Georgia, Rară Neagră from Moldova, and Bastardo (Trousseau/Magarach), Ukraine’s signature grape as Chateau Pucari is located near to the border of Ukraine. Grown on Purcari’s Black Sea estate and hand-harvested, the wine is aged 12 months in French oak. The result is a courageous blend that balances power, elegance, and a story of freedom.
Chateau Purcari, established in 1827 by Tsar Nicholas I as Bessarabia’s first winery and located just 30km from the Black Sea, has earned global acclaim for its refined reds and whites crafted from both local and international grapes.
