With a winemaking history dating back to 1560, Château Purcari remains one of Moldova’s most historic estates, formally established in 1827 under decree from Tsar Nicholas I. Produced in the Ștefan Vodă region, this bottling is made entirely from Viorica, an indigenous aromatic variety hand harvested at night to preserve freshness and delicacy. Vinified in a clean, precise style, the wine highlights the floral and herbal character that defines the grape.

Tasting Note
Highly aromatic yet composed, opening with acacia blossom, basil, white peach and crisp apple. The palate is fresh and medium bodied, showing lime peel, stone fruit and white floral notes carried by a silky, lightly waxy texture. There is a gentle herbal nuance beneath the fruit, with bright acidity bringing balance and lift through to a long, elegant finish.
