Alba Valahica is Davino’s expression of Fetească Albă, one of Romania’s oldest indigenous white varieties and a grape known for requiring careful site selection and precise handling in the cellar. Sourced from vineyards in Ceptura within the Dealu Mare DOC, the wine is fermented spontaneously in stainless steel, with a portion matured in large oak and the remainder aged on fine lees with regular bâtonnage. The result is a wine that balances varietal purity with texture and quiet complexity, while maintaining the freshness that defines the estate’s style.

Tasting Note
Floral and mineral on the nose, with notes of citrus, orchard fruit and lightly toasted hazelnut. The palate is fresh and finely textured, supported by balanced acidity and a saline mineral edge. Lees ageing adds breadth without weight, carrying through to a long, composed finish.
