Grapes are sundried on the vine for up to 17 days, following an ancient technique once praised by Homer and practiced by Egyptians, Phoenicians, Greeks and Etruscans. A delicate cut halts water flow, concentrating sugars and deepening flavour. The result: a ruby red wine with intense purple reflections, a bouquet of ripe red fruits and a velvety palate enriched by persistent vanilla.
